🔺 Your business might need features that we don’t have - we do our best to include them when a feature will enhance everyone’s websites, like having a different hero image for mobile screens and desktops, but it’s not always possible. ⁠

🔺 Your business might need a bespoke solution, rather than a ready-made template, so our packages won’t work for you.

🔺 Maybe you need someone to add your content for you, and we don’t do that. The help we provide is to enable you to be confident to add your own content and take control of your own website. (Sometimes Fred can’t resist a little extra hands-on help, but that’s not guaranteed...)⁠

It’s a hard lesson, when we realise that we’re not right for everyone’s business, but it’s a lesson we have learnt since we started, and continue to learn🤓. ⁠

applies to (almost) every part of your website:

🔺Written copy: cut, then cut a bit more. Use contractions (“I’ve”, not “I have”), and delete any padding words.*

🔺Testimonials: keep them short and snappy - 2 sentences maximum.

🔺Images: yes, use photos, but keep it to 2 or 3 per page, and make sure they’re compressed so they don’t slow your website down.

🔺Forms: use as few fields as possible - 3 is usually plenty (e.g. Contact: name, email, query).
